Council and Committee Meetings
Regular Council meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month commencing at 7:00 p.m., and on the 2nd Monday of each month commencing at 3:30 p.m.
A 4th Regular Meeting may be held on the 4th Monday of the month at 3:30 p.m. if it is deemed necessary by the Wednesday prior. Special meetings are held as required.
All meetings are held in the Town Council Chambers, unless otherwise noted below.

Marriage Licence Requirements

Please call the office to schedule an Appointment.
To apply for a marriage licence, print off the blank marriage licence application form, complete all sections and sign it. Bring the completed application form, licence fee and the required documents to Town Hall. You may also pick up a copy of the application form from Town Hall. Please refer to the Marriage Licence Requirements for the documents that you will need to show when applying for your marriage licence. The marriage licence is valid anywhere in Ontario for three (3) months from the date of issue.
NOTE: Please contact Town Hall (phone: 519-773-3164) prior to coming in to ensure that a Licence Issuer is available to process and issue the Licence,and to avoid possible delays.

You are encouraged to review the AGCO terms and conditions, and forms to be aware of lottery licensing requirements in the Province of Ontario. The AGCO Lottery Licensing Policy Manual is updated from time to time. The most recent updates by the AGCO took place "Winter 2012". Review the Manual to ensure you have the most up-dated information.
You are also encouraged to make an appointment at Town Hall if you have specific concerns about your application, the requirements, etc., to ensure that a staff member is available to assist.
Canada's Criminal Code permits charitable and religious organizations to conduct a lottery scheme to raise funds once a licence is issued. Organizations must have a demonstrated charitable or religious mandate to qualify, i.e., it provides programs for:
- relief of poverty;
- advancement of education;
- advancement of religion;
- other charitable purposes beneficial to the community
